An animated Title Sequence + Short Film based within the world of Harry Potter. The events of the short film occur after 'The Prisoner of Azkaban.'
These are the first drafts of the crest i created to appear in the title sequence as well as an image used as inspiration for the background/setting. Located next to this image is the background I have created using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
Upon completion of my initial crest ideas, I decided to create four separate images that would appear together to form one large crest which represents the four Houses within Hogwarts.
Located below are three Storyboards. The first is for the Title Sequence section of this project which portrays the setting of the stormy sky, where the four crests come together to create one large one. The scene ends with a large purple lightning bolt streaking through the sky and a cut to black.
The two Storyboards below this one portray the events of the short film section of the project, where the protagonist is riding his companion through the sky and is being chased by creatures known as, 'Dementors.'
